QAS and Qscan Group join forces to enhance athlete health and performance

The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) and Qscan Group are partnering to give QAS supported athletes’ priority access to state-of-the art medical imaging services, ensuring a swift and accurate diagnosis of injuries.

This new alliance will pave the way for quicker diagnoses of injuries, and accelerated recovery time, facilitating a swift return to training and competition.

Qscan Group are a premier provider of diagnostic medical imaging services in Australia, covering x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and interventional procedures.

QAS Chief Executive Chelsea Warr said “At QAS, our primary focus is the health and wellbeing of the state’s elite athletes.”

“This partnership with Qscan will sharpen our approach to athlete care as we gear up for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and our athletes’ journeys toward LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032.
